Construction - Water and sewage installation

Trends and new technologies

Economical water consumption. The demand for water in a contemporary home is larger than it used to be - there are more receivers that were not formerly available, as well as more bathrooms. Modern batteries, cisterns and shower heads provide economical use of water without compromising the comfort of users. Saving is also used, among others installations enabling use of rainwater and re-use of water supply (dual installations).

Better quality of drinking water. It is ensured by modern filtration and treatment systems for water drawn from own water intakes and water supplies.

Hot water at a lower price. We can choose solutions that save energy needed to heat usable water - circulating pipes, modern lagging.

Sewage - less dangerous. By consuming more water, we produce more wastewater. Household sewage treatment plants allow to manage them in an ecological way.

WATER WITH WATER SUPPLY

In houses built in areas where there is a water supply network, there is no problem with access to drinking water. Usually it is even the obligation to connect to it. Connecting the house to the water supply network is the fastest and most convenient way to obtain water. To be able to draw water from the network, it is necessary to build a connection. It requires several formalities - including submitting an application at the local waterworks for the issue of technical conditions for connection to the grid and after receiving the terms - ordering the designer to develop the water supply connection project. The project requires an opinion in the Project Documentation Reconstruction Team and arrangements at the waterworks. Then, with the agreed project and the document confirming the legal title to the property, you should report to the water supply plant the readiness to start the investment. The connection is commissioned to an experienced company, preferably one that works with a local water supply company. If there is such a need, the temporary occupation of the road lane should be agreed with the local administrator. After the representative of the waterworks has completed the commissioning of the technical connection, the plant is assembled by the main water meter. The last step is signing a contract for water supply and sewage disposal.

WATER FROM STUDIO

If it is not possible to connect the house to the water supply network, the solution is to build a well. It requires checking that environmental regulations do not limit its construction. It is also necessary to find a source of water - it is worth using specialized methods for this purpose, for example an electrofusion method in which the electrical resistance of underground layers is measured. When planning a place for a well, a safe distance from the cesspool (at least 15 m ), a household sewage treatment plant (at least 30 m ), a livestock building (at least 15 m ), the boundary of the adjacent plot (at least 5 m ) and a roadside axisshould be maintained. ditch (at least 7.5 m ). Wells should not be located in places where rainwater and snowmelt flow. The type of well is selected depending on the depth of the aquifer. If it is located shallowly - a few meters underground - the vertebral well will be sufficient. When the aquifer is 7-8 m deep , narrow-gauge wells are used. If the water table is located at a depth of several to several dozen meters, deep wells (drilled) are better.

After the well has been installed, a pump must be installed, which with the right pressure will pump water to the collection points in the house. In the case of shallow wells, self-priming pumps are sufficient. When the water is at a depth of more than 8 m , it will be necessary to install a submersible pump. If the water is to be drawn from a well, it is also necessary to use hydrophores (sets consisting of a pump, air-water tank and relay), whose task is to stabilize the water pressure in the installation and reduce the frequency of pump activation.

WATER INSTALATION

For water to be supplied to all water intakes at home, a water installation is necessary. It is made of copper or plastic pipes.

Copper pipes. They are very stable and have bacteriostatic properties - copper ions are lethal to bacteria and algae. The surface of the copper pipes is smooth, thanks to which they place very little hydraulic resistance, and sediments do not stop on their surface. Copper water pipes are produced as hard, semi-hard and soft pipes. Hard used on long sections of the installation. On shorter sections, which often turn, softer tubes that can be easily shaped are better. This reduces the number of connections and reduces the installation time. Copper pipes should not be used for water with pH less than 8 and with a high content of carbon dioxide.

Plastic pipes. They are cheaper than copper, easy to assemble and do not corrode. Cold water pipes are made of PE polyethylene, PB polybutylene, polypropylene PP pipes or better-performing PE-X polyethylene pipes and multilayer pipes.Polypropylene pipes with an aluminum or fiberglass insert are used for installation with hot water.

SEWER INSTALLATION

The task of the internal sewage system is to discharge sewage from sanitary facilities by means of approaches (sections connecting sanitary fittings with risers) and drainage risers to horizontal drainage ducts. Then they are discharged to the sewerage network, septic tank or backyard sewage treatment plant with the main drainage pipe. Sewage installation works in a gravitational system. Approaches from plumbing to plumbing are carried out as short as possible, with a slope of 2 to 15% (2-15 cm per meter of pipe) towards the plumbing section. The installation is usually made of plastic. In order to dampen the noise, it is worth using noiseless sewerage, ie special sewer pipes made of materials characterized by, among others, high surface weight. They allow you to reduce the noise level by up to several decibels.

SUCCESSFUL SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS

If it is not possible to connect the house to the sewerage network, it is worth building a sewage treatment plant instead of a cesspool. First of all, it is an ecological investment - treated wastewater does not pollute groundwater, so it can be drained to the ground or discharged, for example, to a river, drainage ditch or pond. The advantage of the sewage treatment plant is also a small cost of exploitation compared with the septic tank, most of which require sludge to be removed every two to three years. There are several types of treatment plants to choose from. Their common denominator is the preliminary settling tank in which the sewage is pre-treated. Then they are subjected to further purification, the course of which depends on the type of treatment plant. The most popular are sewage treatment plants with a drainage drainage - a system of underground pipes through which pre-treated sewage is drained to the ground, and thereafter subjected to purification. Another type of treatment plant are those with a biological deposit - a filtration material enclosed in a natural tank. Wastewater flowing through it is purified by microorganisms that form a biological membrane. In sewage treatment plant with activated sludge, wastewater is decomposed as a result of a suspension consisting of microorganisms. The treatment plant with a ground-root fi lter purifies wastewater by means of a fi lter, which forms a properly treated soil overgrown with aquatic plants and / or characteristic for wetlands.

Delfin Rain - rainwater tank

Perpetual filter

Filter basket with a sponge

RAINWATER TANKS DELFIN RAIN help reduce water consumption in an average household up to 30%! Rainwater can be used for:

flushing the toilet

watering the garden

car wash

cleaning

washing clothes

DELFIN RAIN tanks can be used regardless of ground and water conditions. They are gaining more and more popularity not only because of rising water prices, but also because of greater environmental awareness.

HOW IT'S WORKING?

Water from the gutter is discharged through the pipe system directly to the inlet of the tank. Passing through gutter traps, it is cleaned of leaves and other organic pollutants. Thanks to the filters at the tank top and in the filter basket, it is subsequently stripped of organic and inorganic contaminants (eg sand). The water collected in the tank by means of a properly selected float or pressure pump is delivered to a drawing point (eg a garden tap).

DELFIN RAIN - TANKS TRUST

Delfin tanks are made of high quality polyethylene by rotational molding, which guarantees 100% tightness. In case the tank needs to be placed deeply below the surface, additional attachments mounted on the thread are used.

Available capacities: 3000 - 10,000m3 - 10 years warranty.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY

· The installation of the tank should be preceded by the determination of the level of groundwater, which allows you to perform appropriate protection of the tank.

· The size of the excavation depends on the size and shape of the tank.

· Sand and cement crust should be made around the tank (at least 20 cm ).

· Do not mount the tank under the passage due to the risk of deformation under the weight of vehicles.

· Keep the distance from buildings, specified by the building regulations, to avoid asymmetric, unilateral increase of load on the walls of the reservoir, transferred by the foundations of these objects.

· Cover to the tank must protrude above the ground surface and be available during maintenance.

· The tank should be connected to a year-round receiver, ie storm water drainage or drainage ditch, to allow the outflow of excess water.
