Automatic air inlet V40P - healthy and energy-saving

Automatic air inlet V40P through continuous, automatic regulation of the flow channel size, provides the optimum amount of air into the room, providing a healthy microclimate in the attic and saving thermal energy. The V40P ventilator is a standard solution in FAKRO roof windows. You can live healthy and pay smaller bills for heating, and spend money saved for any purpose.

Automatic air inlet V40P through a continuous, automatic volume flow control provides the optimum amount of air into the room providing a healthy microclimate in the attic and saving thermal energy. The V40P ventilator is a standard solution in FAKRO roof windows. You can live healthy and pay smaller bills for heating, and spend money saved for any purpose.

In the past, the inflow of air provided leaks in windows and doors, thanks to which gravity ventilation systems could function properly in order to ensure the exchange of air in rooms. However, the inflow of air through the leaks was uncontrolled, which caused large heat losses and high heating expenses. Modern construction is characterized by increased tightness of woodwork, which reduces heating costs but limits the inflow of fresh air into the room. The microclimate in residential buildings is clearly deteriorating. Caring for a healthy microclimate, we must ensure the inflow of fresh air into the interior. Currently, this is done by deliberately unsealing windows, ventilators in windows, or mechanical ventilation systems. At the same time, we want the house to be energy-efficient and cheap to operate. Unfortunately, during the winter even the best insulation will not completely prevent heat losses. It penetrates through partitions (walls, windows, roof, floor), but the most heat - up to 35%, in the form of heated air is led out through ventilation lines.

In the gravity ventilation system, fresh air flows through the diffusers into the room due to the pressure difference between the room and the environment. The pressure difference depends on the temperature difference and the wind gust force. In winter and during windy weather, the same hole in the traditional air inlet passes several times more air than in normal conditions. This causes the inflow of cold air in an amount exceeding the recommended values several times, resulting in chilling the room. The automatic air inlet V40P used in FAKRO roof windows, regardless of the pressure difference and the size of the wind gust, always allows the same, optimal amount of air into the room. It protects against cooling the room, which significantly reduces heating costs.

The research shows that one automatic diffuser installed in the FAKRO roof window saves about PLN 50 for one heating season. Assuming the average price of a window with a V40P ventilator for PLN 1,300, the cost of a window returns after 26 years. Automatic air inlet V40P in FAKRO roof windows is a healthy microclimate and real thermal energy savings.

Principle of operation of the V40P ventilator

The capacity of the V40P diffuser increases with the increase of the pressure difference outside and inside the room, until the optimum value is reached. With a further increase in the pressure difference, the air flow is kept constant. The air compressor, known as the air in the diffuser deflects, reducing the cross-sectional area of the channel, limiting the amount of air flowing. This is the case, for example, in sudden wind gusts and in winter.
